Original eBay Fees

Optional eBay Fees
by: Carmen SanDago

There are many options available to make an advertisement stand out or be more appealing to shoppers. For each of these features there is an additional charge above and beyond the basic insertion fee.

http://2healthylifestyles.com/petone766.htm *The Buy It Now feature: If you want to use the Buy It Now feature rather than or in addition to the usual eBay auction, the cost is based upon the price of the item being offered. The cost ranges between 5 cents and 25 cents per item.

*Listing upgrade fees: Some examples of available listing upgrades and their costs are as follows: Gallery $0.35 Bold $1.00 Gift Services $0.25 Border $3.00 Highlight $5.00 Gallery Featured $19.95 *Picture Services: There are a variety of picture services available. None of them are very expensive and having a picture of the item being offered for sale is very important. First picture is free. Each additional picture costs $0.15. Large pictures cost $0.75. There is a picture pack available that provides 6 pictures for $1.00 or 7 to 12 pictures for $1.50. *Ebay provides the basic seller tools free.

There are additional seller tools that can be bought. If you are only selling an item occasionally, the basic tools will be sufficient for your needs. If, however, you are selling a lot of items and doing so on a regular basis, you will want to purchase one or more of these seller tools: Selling Manager $4.99 Selling Manager Pro $15.99 Blackthorne Basic $9.99 Blackthorne Pro $24.99

Enhancing your advertisements can increase your sales and using the seller tools that are available can take a lot of the work out of listing and tracking your items. Whether you are selling a few items or many items, you need to learn to make use of the tools provided.
Thank you,

My Ebay Page

Lets face it. Advertising on eBay can get expensive. You can spend more on advertising than your items are worth if you arent careful. Listing a single item for auction on eBay can cost anywhere from the minimum of $0.35 on up to several dollars and the advertisement is only good for a maximum of 10 days.

http://universalwebserver.com/petone766

After the time limit that you have chosen expires and the item hasnt sold, you are either just out the advertising cost or you must re-list your item for an additional fee. This can make drastic cuts into your profit margin or either erases it altogether.

There is a better and much less expensive way to advertise your merchandise on eBay and that way is to set up a store on eBay rather than auctioning individual items. This isnt to say that you should never put items up for auction but the auction should only be used to attract customers to your eBay store.

Setting up a store on eBay can cost less than ten dollars per month. It wouldnt take a lot of single auction fees to cost more than ten dollars each month. Setting up a store on eBay is very simple to do. You dont have to have thousands of items for sale to have an eBay store. Nobody expects you to have as much merchandise as Wal-Mart.

Going the extra mile to make your first time customers repeat customers is a huge advertising cost cutting measure, as well. Not including a catalog or a flyer in each and every order that you ship is just....well...there isnt another word for it...DUMB.

http://trafficsharedepot.com/ppc/

It costs five times as much to sell to a new customer as it does to sell to a repeat customer. Contacting those who have purchased from you before every month or so offering a bargain is a way to cut advertising costs on eBay.

Gardening Catalogues

Gardening catalogues are an excellent way for gardeners to purchase anything their heart desires or anything their garden requires without ever leaving their home. Gardening catalogues offer a wider variety at a cheaper cost with less hassle involved. http://homeincomeportal.com/petone766

Gardening catalogues are an excellent way for gardeners to purchase anything their heart desires or anything their garden requires without ever leaving their home. Gardening catalogues offer a wider variety at a cheaper cost with less hassle involved. You can order anything you want or need and have it delivered right to your door, ready for use. Gardening catalogues are a treasure trove of information for both beginner and experienced gardeners. They will give detailed descriptions about all plant types available for purchase, their growing and blooming seasons, and the maintenance that is involved. They will tell readers exactly what nutrients each plant needs and the proper times to administer them.
Catalogues even give tips and hints on things like how to control weeds andor diseases that may infect your plants. They give step-by-step planting instructions, such as how much sunlight will be needed, and what iseason are the best planting times. Keeping that in mind, most catalogues will wait and ship these goods so that you receive them during the proper planting time according to what zone you live in. Gardening catalogues also have all of the equipment you could possibly need for any type of gardening. If you have a hydroponics garden you can order a timed water pump or artificial lighting.

You can order pruning shears for shrubs or a gas operated tiller to break up your dirt. Catalogues will give you a large selection of gloves, making it possible to find a pair that is operational and fashionable. Other tools that can be purchased include, but are not limited to, hoes, rakes, spades, shovels, water hoses, and sprinklers. Gardening catalogues provide gardeners with a wider selection of seeds and plant types than can be found anywhere else. The biggest plus about catalogues is everything is offered to you at once. You can look through what is available and pick and choose what you wish to plant based on the requirements, such as the plants maintenance, time, and climate needs.

A gardening catalogue gives you the luxury of viewing every plant type all at once, making it much easier to make a choice. Gardening catalogues, above all else, are extremely convenient. If you do not live near a nursery or some type of gardening store, it is difficult to find all of the things you need to start and keep a healthy garden. Lets face it; Wal-Mart does not have everything you need for a garden. Gardening catalogues give you more options and allow you to view everything available at a single setting. Whether you are in the market for seeds or equipment, a gardening catalogue is the only way to go.

Hope you all liked this article.

Be Realistic When Choosing A Business On The Net

We live in a different age. Entrepreneurs abound on the web and some know

very little about business. And what about the people who are good at

business in the traditional sense but know very little about technical stuff

on the internet. There is a pathway to success but there are realities and

options we have to consider.

The internet entrepreneur needs help? There is a road to financial success.
Many people want to own their own home based business. But, there are so many

different ones and how do we know for sure which ones are right for us?

Most people want to be paid directly for sales. If this is the case the site

should be pre-configured for direct payments. It should be turnkey and if

possible have some form of recurring payments as part of your offer. It

would be nice to have full marketing and infrastructure support, but you can

outsource much of this for a small fee.

You must approach the potential business with caution. I have been scammed

more than once and it is painful, especially when there is nothing you can do

about it. It is not like you can run around the block and grab the crook. If

you lose your money the chances of getting it back are extremely SLIM.

What do you look for when starting your own work at home business? We must

have a basic list of things that ensure we are on the right track. Here are a

few suggestions:

SUBSCRIPTION BASED SELLING IS GOOD - With so many scams out there, one thing

to look for is a revenue source that builds. This makes sure you do not have

to start from scratch every month. Each month you retain a membership of

paying customers and build on this the next month. This allows the income to

build nicely.

WHAT PRODUCT will you be offering to customers? Is it something
most people need? Try to put yourself in the customer's position. If you

would not find it necessary, would others keep paying for the product or

service? Is it digital? If not, what problems are there with shipping? You

must spend a lot of time thinking deeply about your product. There are

millions of products getting offered daily. There are many ideas out there.

Try and make your product unique in some way.

OUTLAY - How much does it cost to join this opportunity, and is it an ongoing

cost? How long will it be before your costs are matched by revenue received?

Many people outlay a fee and don't start making revenue, and then face

another monthly fee. How does the compensation plan work? How long does it

take before I at least break even? You MUST address these issues up front

before wasting time and money.

MARKETING - It is not enough to find a company with a product or an

opportunity that you really like. You must learn how to market it properly.

You must also weigh up the pros and cons of doing things yourself, or getting

professional help. You can literally waste months trying to accomplish what

sometimes can be done properly by a professional for a reasonable fee.If you

search thoroughly enough you can generally find a solution to almost any

marketing need. But the internet is very fickle. You may get carried away

with your own idea only to find a similar or better one on the next website.

PERSISTENCE- Some people think that because of the nature of the internet,

results can be instantaneous. In fact that is what many businesses promise.

The truth is there is no short-cut to long term wealth. It takes a lot of

patience and putting in the long hours. But if it's the right opportunity for

you and you believe in it, the success will come. But you must be prepared

to put in many many hours researching, searching the web, comparing offerings

and relearning.

COMMUNICATION- Can you get in contact with other successful members in the

business? Business forums are a special place to communicate with others, as

well as marketing and team building calls. Are they real people? Can you chat

or email them? Can you trust them? Chat rooms, blogs and message boards are

also useful, but you must look for credibility. But in general there are

people out there willing to help you with almost anything. In fact I have

become friends with people who have given me hours of their own free time.

You only have to be humble, appreciate what others are doing and you will get

help.

INFRASTRUCTURE- Many new entrepreneurs have no idea what kind of

infrastructure is required for developing a long term business. You should

not underestimate the power of using other marketers for help. You could

spend years just going from one marketing site to another. You must allow

your marketing strategies to build on each other. What is the purpose of

blogs, article marketing, directory submissions, classifieds or banners? How

do they fit together and build off each other? And how can I track results?

The main thing is to take your time and look at all the above factors before

coming up with your plan. And take heart, there ARE many real people making

money out there.

Thanks,

Peter
